How long does it take after I place my order to have my window treatments installed?
Shades take about 2 weeks. Fabric treatments take 6-8 weeks in most cases.

Do you require a deposit?
We require a 50% deposit before we can order your shades or submit your work order. The balance is due at the time of installation.

Do you do projects of one shade or one small stretch panel?
Yes, we do one window or your whole house.

Are your prices competitive?
Yes, we are competitive with other window covering companies in our area, otherwise, Fashions for Windows would not be able to have successfully provided window coverings for 30+ years.   We offer many more services than any of the box stores or an internet company. We help you sort through all the choices, give you constructive suggestions to help you choose one product over another and give you great service after the sale.

What is the average cost for shades or blinds for a standard window?
There are no “standard” windows. The cost of a shade or blind is based on the width and length of your window. However shades offer such a variety of features that the price range is quite broad for a given window size. Each covering is made especially for a specific window after it has been ordered from the manufacturer.

For a 60“x60” window for example, miniblinds might be $150, honeycomb shades around $300, and a top down/bottom up, tilt anywhere, cordless Silhouette shade by Hunter Douglas might be as much as $1000. What do I do if my shade breaks?
Call us. We repair most problems at our shop. Occasionally your shade will need to be sent back to the company for repair or replacement and, in most cases, we can do that for you too.
